Hi!
I am about to be new to the area, moving to southwest Albuquerque mid-February, and by March I really want to start taking lessons for Tribal Belly Dance. I've been wanting to do this for some time now but haven't been in one place long enough to get serious about it. Does anyone have any idea where I could take classes? Or know anyone who gives lessons? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Thu, January 31, 2008 - 4:22 PMCheck out the NM Bellydance Tribe tribes.tribe.net/nmbellydance. Flozilla moderates that tribe, and she is an excellent teacher. Her troupe's name is the Rogue Bindi's. Flo brought in the Indigo last year, so she's a workshop promoter as well.
Another tribal instructor in the area is Megan Martyn, she's also on tribe. Good luck with your search.
